Coming back from tobogganing after lunch (guys take the kids while the ladies clean up) and before Christmas story/music/presents - as per tradition on my side of the family.

The kid's school Christmas concert was tonight.

Emma was doing the sound system (mics only), Olivia and Jacob's classes were on stage together (singing Frosty the Snow Man, and Get Along Little Reindeer with a surprise "snowball fight"!), and Sophia stole the show with her drama queen act.  It was a great show!

Playing games with Jacob while the girls are at school today. Considering there's math involved, I'm basically homeschooling. ;)

My baby lost his first tooth! It fell out during recess and he thought of picking it up because it looked like the gravel and he didn't want it to get lost - so responsible for a 5 yr old boy. :)

It's hard to see that bottom missing tooth with a regular smile but this works!

Getting a little leary of what our schedule is going to look like with extra curricular activities this fall/winter - especially with 3 in hockey this year.  Today Emma had volleyball after school till 4:30, Sophia had hockey from 5-6, Emma had voice from 5-5:30, I needed to drop Jacob off at Nathan's parents at 5 for the Jets game, and I had praise band practice at church from 6:45-9.

Today was a big day around our house.

For the girls.... the first day of school!  Olivia in Grade 3, Sophia in Grade 5, and Emma in Grace 7.

For Jacob?  After dropping Nathan's parents off at the airport (Fairway tour of Canada's east coast), Nathan took Jacob to the Jets practice at the Ice Plex.  The goal?  Meet Jacob Trouba (Jacob's favourite player, naturally), and get his autograph.  Mission successful!!

Well, this is a photo fail.  There was a huge gorgeous orange full moon (harvest moon?) hanging low in the sky tonight, but this picture does not do it justice in any way, shape, or form!
