It is harsh. I can't even imagine what it would've been like for the pioneers. And, nowadays, the homeless. Sometimes a little perspective is helpful. Praying that you will be able to see the beauty beyond the harshness. Thankfully the days will start to get longer this weekend!
I still struggle with seeing beauty in these kinds of pictures. It's unfortunately, but mostly I just see the bad about this time of year.
