Today, at Coffee Connections (our church's morning out for ladies of all ages), we had a local published author come tell her faith story, and then near the end of the morning they brought in the kids and she read them her book, Bug Town. The characters are her (now grown) children and their childhood friends and it's based in their home town of Oakbank and references Winnipeg and Canada several times.  It's really cute!  She has another book called A Bug's Dream, featuring her four grandchildren, coming out this summer.  And is working on a Christmas one - combining Jesus and bugs could be interesting!
