At church this morning (Good Friday service) Sophia confirmed that she had indeed been added to the cast of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe!

And today was probably the last day of skating on the backyard rink and Nathan put Jacon in hockey equipment - he was so excited!!

Checking out the cast list at church for the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - and she's on it! One of Aslan's followers. Sophia's name wasn't on it but we heard that was an error and that she's in the witch's army.

So proud of Olivia for receiving the Leadership Pillar award today at school (and she was thrilled)!

Olivia has a very assertive personality and her teacher was pleased with her growth from just being "bossy" to exhibiting true leadership, and that's why she received the award. Way to go Olivia!

Today, at Coffee Connections (our church's morning out for ladies of all ages), we had a local published author come tell her faith story, and then near the end of the morning they brought in the kids and she read them her book, Bug Town. The characters are her (now grown) children and their childhood friends and it's based in their home town of Oakbank and references Winnipeg and Canada several times.  It's really cute!  She has another book called A Bug's Dream, featuring her four grandchildren, coming out this summer.  And is working on a Christmas one - combining Jesus and bugs could be interesting!

I was really hoping the weather would still let me get to Girls Night Out tonight and thankfully it was not as bad as predicted and I got to go!

Today Olivia's team beat my old home town 4-3 in the first game of a best of 3 series. She even had a grandpa, an aunt and uncle and 2 cousins come cheer her on!

Sophia's team lost in their playoffs today, might have been their last game of the year. Proud of my #16!

Jacob hasn't been feeling that well for the past couple days. Minor fever, nothing serious. Nothing a little sleep won't help cure!
