I've done a few of those princess cakes. One year I did the big one with a regular size doll. One year I did 4 mini ones using polly pocket size dolls. This time I used a polly pocket size doll but made her dress a bit bigger. I didn't want to do a big one cause we'd have too much cake to eat! And I didn't want to do just a mini one because it would look wimpy next to Jacob's race track cake. I think this struck the right balance. Doing her dress fancy instead of smooth took forever though - over an hour!
